Training

Medflow Complete has a team of ophthalmic professionals that are experienced and ready to help you complete the successful implementation of your new system. Our Project Managers and Trainers have all spent time in the clinic; they know what it takes to run a busy ophthalmology office. We only hire certified technicians (COA, COT, COMT) and licensed opticians (ABOC) and we have made a commitment to make sure our staff maintain their certification. When you speak with our staff you will not waste your time educating them on what you do or how you do certain tests or procedures.  We understand your specialty.

Medflow Complete offers onsite and internet training with multiple courses to achieve optimum usage of our solution. Typically this occurs in 2 phases. Phase One includes the Practice Management System. Phase two includes the Electronic Medical Records. Training can also be scheduled for existing clients, whether needed for expanded staff or a refresher session.

Our trainers specialize in Practice Management, Electronic Medical Records, Optical Shop, and ASC. During the EMR Training, we will identify “Super Users” within your clinic who will be given advanced training on setup, configuration, and customization. We feel it is very important to have “Super Users” on staff for a successful implementation.

During and after the initial training of the Super Users, the system is customized for the practice and/or each doctor; including documents, pick-lists, procedure notes, referral letters, etc.  Next, we train the rest of the staff on the system, connect your diagnostic devices and go live.  Our certified technicians will be onsite with you for several days to help with the transition from paper to the Medflow Complete solution.
